Glenwood Springs is the largest city in the Roaring Fork Valley. The history runs deep here as it's the confluence of the Roaring Fork River and the Colorado River, generating abound recreation opportunities. A trip to either hot springs is a must for locals and visitors alike. Beyond that, the thriving downtown brings you back to the Doc Holiday days and is attractive for many tourists in both winter and summer.

There are still parts of Glenwood Springs where you can find your privacy and have a decent plot of land, but those opportunities seem to be shrinking as Glenwood Springs continues to grow with each passing year.
